When a $2B diversified insurance holding company made an acquisition, they were in search of support for immediate post-acquisition integration as well as the development of an acquisition “playbook” to guide and support future acquisitions.
HighPoint was engaged and immediately deployed a former leader in Accenture’s Insurance Practice who had more than 15 years of industry experience in the P&C sector. That consultant jumpstarted stagnant integration efforts, directing the process before handing it back to internal leaders after 90 days.
Leveraging his prior experience and exposure to the client, the consultant then developed an acquisition playbook that covered key phases of the acquisition lifecycle, including detailed implementation plans by work stream along with reusable tools, templates, and sample work products.
The effort helped the company identify areas where they could accelerate the process for integrating future acquisitions and track results of current deals.
