At HighPoint, one of the things that sets us apart is our approach to client engagement. Because business leaders face complex challenges that defy short-term solutions, our partnerships deliver lasting results through deep engagements. These partnerships are shaped by our drive to align on the why before executing the how and HighPoint’s Senior Advisors are an integral part of this process. Comprised of former leaders from the world’s top consulting firms, our Senior Advisors are valuable resources for clients, providing thoughtful collaboration and partnership on projects at all stages.
Anna Minto is one of our newest Senior Advisors and the author of “Define Your Brand”, our most recent InSights article.
Tell us about your experience working with HighPoint:
HPA is unique in that it truly attracts and vets top-notch, Big 3 consulting and industry experts. This is not your brokerage cattle call, but rather cohesive teams with the shared goal of helping clients solve problems.
How did your career lead to you this type of work?
I started my post-Harvard career in consulting, with The Boston Consulting Group. After spending 17 years there in four of their offices – Boston, London, New York, Dallas – and moving my way up to Partner and Managing Director, and a Lead Officer of our Consumer and Organization Practice Areas, I decided to go out on my own. That was nine years ago! Today I help boards, CEOs and the executive teams of large, complex organizations enrich strategies and embed changes. I do this across a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on consumer-oriented industries, such as CPG, retail, restaurant, services, health and general wellness.
What’s been your proudest professional moment?
Results-wise, seeing the public announcement that the client had achieved their goal of getting $1.5B of innovation in-market. It was a herculean task realized by a team of over 100 around the globe.
What are you doing when you’re not at work?
When I get time for an extended vacation I love traveling the globe and eating all the local foods I can so that my clothes don’t fit on the plane home! Day-to-day I’m heavily involved in supporting women with histories of domestic abuse and addiction.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
That I have 3 citizenships and I’ve visited almost all 50 states and over 50 countries around the globe. I am also writing a book and just passed the 100-page mark!
