Private Label Strategy

A PE-owned mid-market specialty home-building products company was looking to diversify its existing product portfolio, and sought to develop and launch a private label offering that would compliment its current portfolio.

Upon engagement, HighPoint deployed a team led by a highly experienced professional. The former McKinsey consultant had also served as Head of Sales for a national landscaping company, CEO of a regional building products manufacturer, and CEO of a national facilities maintenance company.

Over two months the team identified and prioritized prospects, evaluated opportunities based on market conditions, modeled financial implications, and outlined profit potential on a short- and long-term basis.

Following initial evaluations, the team designed a master rollout plan that addressed sales training, marketing, packaging, compliance, logistics, vendor relations, and finance functions necessary for successful launch.
