After experiencing a growth plateau, a mid-size retail health services provider sought to identify and implement strategic and operational changes.
Upon engagement, HighPoint deployed a team of former McKinsey consultants led by a former McKinsey senior consultant with deep healthcare operating experience.
The team analyzed issues that ranged from pricing and customer service to recruiting and internal operations. They also conducted a system-wide survey of patients, doctors and staff, as combined their findings with industry expert interviews. The results informed the development of change initiatives which were adopted by the company.
Following the conclusion of the initial project, one of the team’s members was brought on as COO to drive implementation of recommendations. The company’s EBITDA increased 25% within the first year after implementation.
